These 6 puppies (an unwanted litter) were taken in by Le Refuge de Flassans, properly cared for and socialised and will be available for adoption in one week's time when they've been vaccinated and identified. Their mother is a Beauceron x Beagle and the father is a Labrador x Braque. You can see how some have picked up one or other parents' characteristics. If you feel you could give one of these beautiful and properly reared puppies a good home, please call Nicky direct. She is in charge of the refuge and has been caring for them. Nicky - 06 86 35 93 83. Speaks English and French. (All six puppies have now been adopted).There are also 10 hunting dog cross puppies at the refuge - one-week old. They were unwanted and had been put in a plastic bag in the garage to die. 24 hours later the woman who put them there found them still alive, so she went to the chemist to buy ether to kill them. Fortunately someone who knew the Refuge de Flassans heard the pups and persuaded the woman to take them to the refuge. Two were dead in the bag but at present the other ten are doing well.
